  • Do you offer trials? How much do they cost?

    YES! We offer trials to NEW students looking to get a feel of being on roller-skates and and to get mini sample of how our lesson program works.


    The fee for a trial is $15 per student.

    You may stay for Open Skate after your time-slot ends, but you must clear the trial area.

  • Do you offer discounts?

    Yes, we offer a 10% discount for siblings and parents enrolled in the class membership simultaneously.

  • Do you offer refunds or credit on classes?

    Once charges goes through, all sales are final. In the event of an emergency, injury, or illness, please contact us through e-mail.

  • How do I stop my enrollment?

    Please send us an e-mail (info@liveloveskate.com) to inform us that you would like to stop your enrollment, of fill out a drop form while attending class in person.


    You must notify us no later than the 22nd day of each month that you do not wish to be included in the next month of classes.

  • What is the correct class for a beginner skater?

    If your child has never taken skating lessons before, and their age is between 5.5-14, please register for Intro to Roller Skating.


    If your child has never taken skating lessons before, and their age is between 3½-5, please register for Future Stars 1.


    A beginner adult skater should register into the regular adult class. We have a specific coach dedicated to beginner adults within that class.

  • How do I register for a waitlisted class?

    To register for a class that is currently full, add this enrollment to your cart and check out. You will be asked to save your card information but there will be no charge. Once a spot becomes available we will contact you to let you know and ask if you would like to proceed with enrollment.


    Please note that we go in the order that people have waitlisted when contacting about class availability. Adding yourself to the waitlist is the fastest way to get into the class.

  • My child has some skating experience. Which class should I pick?

    If your child has some skating experience and can easily perform all of the required skills located under Intro to Roller Skating/Future Stars 1, please email us to schedule an evaluation on Friday during open skate.

  • How long does it take to pass each level?

    Each level is built off the fundamentals learned in previous levels and each skater progresses at their own pace. It normally takes 2-3 months to pass a level for ages 5+ and 4-6 months for ages 3-5. Your coach will let you know when it is time for the skater to move to the next level.

  • Do you offer classes for Adults? Can I join with my child?

    Yes! We offer adult only classes on Saturday's at 10am and Wednesdays at 7:30pm.


    If both you and your child are starting together, you may join their Intro to Rollerskating class if you wish. Do be aware that this is a class intended for kids ages 5-12, so the structure of the class will be taught to fit that age range.


  • What is the make up policy and how do I request a make up?

    We offer one make up class per month which must be used during the current month of enrollment. Make ups cannot be accumulated or carried over to future months.


    All requests must be done via email, in person at the skate counter, through the online Parent Portal, or the iClassPro App.


    Make ups are subject to availability in classes.

  • What should I/my skater wear for skating classes? Do we need to buy roller skates for the class?

    We recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothes to allow for the skater to move freely. No jeans, skirts or dresses please.


    There is no need to buy skates. Rental skates are included with your membership for class.


    Socks are required to use our rental skates. If you/your skater forgot to wear socks, we have some available for purchase at the skate rental counter for $2.

  • What time should I arrive for my/my child’s class?

    Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled class time in order to allow time to check-in, use the restroom, get a drink and put on the skates!

  • Is protective gear required?

    Adults:

    All adults are required to own/wear a pair of wrist guards.


    They are available for purchase at most sporting goods stores, online through the Parent Portal via our Pro-Shop, or at the skate rental counter.


    Kids:

    We encourage all parents to use their best judgement in deciding whether or not their child should wear protective gear/helmet, however it is not required.
